Qatar Airways becomes the first aviation group to win Best Airline, Best Airport and Best Airport Shopping, in the same year in Skytrax history <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doha, Qatar – Qatar Airways has been awarded the \u2018Airline of the Year\u2019 title by Skytrax, returning to the top for an unprecedented eighth time. This distinction highlights the airline’s unwavering commitment to excellence. The 5-star carrier was also recognised with three additional awards: \u2018World’s Best Business Class\u2019, \u2018World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge\u2019, and \u2018Best Airline in the Middle East\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, Qatar Airways\u2019 home and hub, Hamad International Airport, was named \u2018World\u2019s Best Airport\u2019 in 2024 by Skytrax for the third time. The airport also received the award for \u2018Best Airport in the Middle East\u2019 for the tenth time, and the airport\u2019s retail, Qatar Duty Free, received \u2018World’s Best Airport Shopping\u2019 for the second consecutive year. This remarkable achievement is the first time that an airline, an airport, and the airport\u2019s retail have been crowned as \u2018World\u2019s Best\u2019 in all three Skytrax categories.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year is the eighth time since 2011 that Qatar Airways has been awarded Airline of the year. The Skytrax World Airline Awards, widely regarded as \u2018the Oscars of the aviation industry\u2019, represent the pinnacle of excellence in aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
